
Lafayette County, MO – Injury Crash on I-70 EB Near MM 36.6


Lafayette County, MO (September 11, 2025) – A rear-end collision occurred on Tuesday, September 9, on the eastbound I-70 near mile marker 36.6 at 3:10 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2022 Subaru Legacy, driven by a 62-year-old male from Alma, MO, rear-ended a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox had stopped in the roadway. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed from the scene.
The crash resulted in minor injuries for the driver of the Chevrolet Equinox, a 62-year-old female from Auxvasse, MO, and a 20-year-old male occupant. Odessa EMS transported both individuals to Centerpoint Medical Centre.
Troopers Haines, Eickhoff, McFatrich, and Foss assisted at the scene.
