St Louis Co., MO – Multiple Injuries Result from Accident on I-70 near Jennings Station Rd

St Louis Co., MO (August 17, 2025) – On August 15, a multi-vehicle collision on eastbound Interstate 70 resulted in injuries and significant vehicle damage. The crash occurred just west of Jennings Station Road around 6:27 p.m. and involved four vehicles in a chain-reaction impact.
Emergency personnel, including Northeast Fire and Protection crews, responded promptly to assist the injured. The driver of a 2023 GMC Terrain, a 56-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital for treatment.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash began when an unidentified vehicle made a sudden lane change into lane 3, forcing a 2016 Mercedes AMG to swerve. The Mercedes then collided with a 2015 Honda Fit, which was pushed into the GMC Terrain, triggering the chain-reaction collision. The initial vehicle involved in the lane change fled the scene before authorities could identify it.
The Mercedes, Honda, and GMC Terrain were all towed from the scene by Bolin Towing. The investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the injured driver, and we hope for a full recovery.
