St. Louis, MO – Woman Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-70 EB Near Jennings Station Rd

St. Louis, MO (October 4, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 eastbound left one woman injured on October 2, just west of Jennings Station Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. A 2022 Chevrolet Blazer slowed and stopped for traffic. A 2019 Nissan Versa also stopped behind it. However, a 2007 Dodge Charger, traveling too fast for conditions, failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the Nissan. The Nissan was then pushed forward, colliding with the Chevrolet.

The driver of the Nissan, a 24-year-old woman from Collinsville, IL, sustained minor injuries. Emergency crews transported her to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. The drivers of the Dodge and Chevrolet were not injured. Both the Nissan and the Dodge were towed from the scene due to damage, while the Chevrolet was driven away.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the factors that led to the crash.

Our thoughts are with the injured woman, and we hope she makes a full recovery. The investigation remains ongoing.
