Terre Haute, IN – Car Accident Results in Injuries on I-70 near Terre Haute Exit

Terre Haute, IN (August 9, 2025) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of an injury crash on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the Terre Haute exit on Thursday, August 7.

Firefighters, EMS teams, and law enforcement arrived promptly to provide assistance to those injured and to secure the area. Medical personnel treated the victims on-site, with at least one individual transported to a local hospital for further care.

Traffic flow on eastbound I-70 was slowed as crews worked to clear debris and ensure the safety of motorists traveling through the area.

Authorities have yet to release details on the cause of the collision, which remains under
