Callaway Co., MO – Truck Collision with Injuries on I-70 W at MM 139

Callaway County, MO (September 26, 2025) – A crash between two semi-trucks left one driver injured on Thursday afternoon, September 25, on Interstate 70 Westbound near the 139-mile marker.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened around 2:53 p.m. A 2020 Freightliner Cascadia had stopped due to an earlier incident ahead of it. A 2021 Freightliner Cascadia traveling westbound failed to stop in time and struck the back of the stopped truck.

The driver of the 2021 Freightliner, a 31-year-old man from Lakeland, FL, sustained minor injuries. He refused medical transport at the scene. The other driver, a 36-year-old man from Sharonville, OH, was not injured. The 2021 Freightliner was heavily damaged and towed, while the 2020 Freightliner was driven away from the crash site.
