Clark County, OH – Construction Worker Injured in Crash on WB I-70 Near SR 235

Clark County, OH (September 18, 2025) – A construction worker was injured early Wednesday morning, September 17, when their truck was struck by a vehicle on westbound I-70 near State Route 235. Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers from the Springfield Post responded just before 1:20 a.m. on September 17.

Investigators reported that a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) with an active arrow board and construction lights was shutting down the right lane for roadwork when a 2024 tractor-trailer struck the back of the TMA. The collision caused the TMA to move across the westbound lanes and hit the median wall.

The construction worker driving the TMA was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with minor injuries. The tractor-trailer driver, 39-year-old Rajinder Singh of Maryland, was unharmed and cited for the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances. Our thoughts are with the injured worker, and we hope for a quick recovery.
