Columbus, OH (July 26, 2025) – A hit-and-run accident with reported injuries disrupted traffic on July 25 in the Independence Village area of Columbus. The incident took place around 7:18 p.m. at the intersection of Interstate 70 East and Brice Road.
Emergency crews responded quickly to assist those hurt in the crash, providing medical attention at the scene before transporting the injured to nearby hospitals. Authorities have not yet released the total number of people hurt or the severity of their injuries.
The driver who caused the collision fled the scene before officials arrived. The Columbus Police Department is actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the individual responsible.
