Huber Heights, OH – 3 Killed, 1 Injured in Fiery Wrong-Way Crash on I-70

Huber Heights, OH (October 7, 2025) – Three people were killed, and another was hospitalized after a fiery wrong-way collision on Sunday morning, October 5, on Interstate 70 in Huber Heights.

Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred in the early morning hours when a driver traveling the wrong way on I-70 collided head-on with another vehicle. The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire, resulting in multiple fatalities at the scene. Emergency responders arrived quickly, extinguished the flames, and transported one survivor to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Huber Heights Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including what caused the driver to enter the interstate in the wrong direction.
