Rear-End Accidents on I-70 in Missouri
Rear-end collisions are one of the most frequent types of car accidents, especially on busy highways like I-70 in Jackson County. With high speeds, heavy traffic, and frequent lane changes, drivers can easily misjudge stopping distances, leading to serious crashes.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, rear-end collisions account for nearly 30% of all motor vehicle crashes in the state. These accidents often cause injuries such as whiplash, spinal damage, broken bones, and concussions. For older drivers, even moderate crashes can lead to long recovery periods and costly hospital stays.
Victims of rear-end crashes may face physical pain, missed work, and insurance stress. A personal injury attorney can help by investigating the crash, gathering evidence, and pursuing compensation. This may include reimbursement for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
Legal guidance is especially important when liability needs to be proven or if the injuries have long-term effects. If you or someone you know was hurt in a rear-end collision in Missouri, consider speaking with an experienced personal injury lawyer.
