
St. Charles, MO – Injuries in Rear-End Crash at I-70 W & TR Hughes Blvd

St. Charles, MO (July 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Saturday, July 19, injured one man on westbound Interstate 70 just west of TR Hughes Boulevard.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:09 a.m. A 26-year-old man from St. Louis was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze when he struck the rear of a 2019 Volvo VNL truck.
The impact totaled the Chevrolet, which was towed from the scene. The semi-truck sustained moderate damage but was driven away. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Chevrolet suffered moderate injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis by the St. Charles County Ambulance District.
The 37-year-old driver of the Volvo, from Lincoln, NE, was not reported injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
