
St. Charles, MO – Injury Crash Involving Semi-Truck on I-70 E Near MM 203


St. Charles, MO (July 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck resulted in injuries Friday afternoon, July 18, on Interstate 70 East near the 203-mile marker in St. Charles County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 3:51 p.m. A 60-year-old man from St. Louis was driving a 2017 Acura MDX when he stopped in the right lane due to traffic. A 33-year-old man from Tooele, UT, driving a 2024 Volvo VNL 760, failed to stop in time and struck the Acura from behind.
The impact caused moderate damage to the semi-truck and extensive damage to the Acura. Emergency services transported the Acura driver to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, Lake St. Louis, with minor injuries. The driver of the semi was not reported injured.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
