St. Charles, MO – Injury Crash on I-70 W Near T.R. Hughes Blvd

St. Charles, MO (August 25, 2025) – A collision occurred on Friday, August 22, at approximately 12:54 p.m. on westbound Interstate 70, just east of T.R. Hughes Blvd in St. Charles. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in multiple injuries, prompting a quick response from emergency services.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1997 Ford F150, driven by a 33-year-old male from O’Fallon, MO, attempted to avoid another vehicle that was changing lanes. In doing so, the driver of the Ford overcorrected, causing the truck to overturn and strike a 2019 Chevy Colorado, driven by a 63-year-old male from St. Charles, MO.

The 33-year-old male driver of the Ford F150 and his 3-year-old female passenger were transported by St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis with minor injuries. A 33-year-old female occupant in the Chevy Colorado sustained moderate injuries and was also transported to the same hospital.

The Ford F150 was towed from the scene by Superior Towing, while the Chevy Colorado was driven away from the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by CPL. T.N. Ziegler.
