
St. Charles, MO – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I‑70 at Blanchette Brg


St. Charles, MO (July 18, 2025) – Three people suffered injuries in a crash on Monday night on eastbound I‑70 at the Blanchette Bridge in St. Charles County.
The crash happened around 8:05 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A stalled 2006 Buick Lucerne sat in lane 4 when a 2015 Nissan Altima stopped behind it. A third vehicle, a 2012 Nissan Quest, approached but reportedly failed to stop.
The Quest struck the back of the Altima, which then hit the stalled Lucerne. All three vehicles were heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Emergency responders transported all three drivers to Mercy Hospital – St. Louis. The 33-year-old male driver of the Quest and the 26-year-old male driver of the Altima suffered serious injuries. The 33-year-old woman in Lucerne had moderate injuries. All drivers had been wearing seatbelts.
