St. Louis, MO – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on I‑70 W Near St Charles Rock Rd

St. Louis, MO (July 18, 2025) – A woman lost her life late Tuesday night, July 15, after a tragic pedestrian crash on Interstate 70 westbound, just east of St. Charles Rock Road in St. Louis.

Authorities say the crash happened around 11:55 p.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 62-year-old woman was crawling in Lane 1 of westbound I‑70 when a Cadillac AT4 struck her. The vehicle hit her with the left front section.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:53 p.m. by Trooper D.O. Gillespie. Officials identified her as a St. Louis resident. The 61-year-old man driving the Cadillac was also from St. Louis. He was reportedly uninjured and drove his vehicle from the scene.
