St. Louis, MO – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-70 Near MO 180

St. Louis, MO (September 4, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred Thursday evening, September 4, around 5:00 p.m. on westbound Interstate 70 near the Missouri Route 180 exit.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Ford Edge and a 2024 International box truck were both traveling westbound when the crash occurred. Driver 1, operating the Ford Edge, executed an unsafe lane change, causing the front right of the Ford to strike the left rear of the box truck.

The crash resulted in injuries to both drivers. The female driver of the box truck, aged 32 and from St. Louis, was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital by Pattonville Fire Protection District. The male occupant of the Ford Edge, aged 38 and from St. Charles, was also taken to SSM Health DePaul Hospital, though he was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles sustained damage, with the Ford Edge suffering moderate damage and being left on the roadside. Bolin Services towed the box truck.
