
St. Louis, MO – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on I-70 E Near I-270


St. Louis, MO (September 17, 2025) – A serious crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred Monday morning, September 15, on Interstate 70 East near I-270 in St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision at 9:04 a.m. A 19-year-old man from St. Peters was riding a 2025 Yamaha MT07 when he swerved to avoid another vehicle and struck a 2024 Ford F350 driven by a 56-year-old man from St. Clair. The motorcycle overturned onto its left side after impact.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by Pattonville Fire and EMS to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The driver of the Ford was not injured and drove away from the scene.
Troopers, along with multiple assisting officers, responded to investigate the crash. Authorities continue to review the circumstances leading up to the collision. Our thoughts are with the injured rider, and we wish him a full recovery.
