Terre Haute, IN – Truck Collision with Injury on I-70 Near Wabash River Bridge

Terre Haute, IN (November 4, 2025) – A collision involving two trucks caused injuries early Monday morning, November 3 on Interstate 70 near the Wabash River Bridge in Riley Township, Vigo County.

Reports indicate that the crash occurred around 2:22 a.m. and involved an 18-wheeler and a box truck. One person inside the box truck suffered head pain as a result of the impact. Fire, EMS, and state police units responded to assist, and the injured individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities noted that the front axle of one of the trucks was severely damaged, requiring a rollback tow for removal. The crash caused temporary traffic delays as crews cleared debris and conducted an on-scene investigation.
