Clark Co., OH – Several Hurt in DUI Crash on I-70 near SR-235

Clark Co., OH (July 6, 2025) — Several people were injured early Sunday morning after a suspected drunk driver triggered a four-vehicle wrong-way collision on Interstate 70 in Clark County.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the State Route 235 exit, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post.

Preliminary reports indicate the driver was traveling in the wrong direction when the collision occurred, causing a chain-reaction crash involving three other vehicles. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to treat multiple injured individuals, some of whom required transport to nearby hospitals for further care.
