
Denver, CO – Fatal Head-On Crash Kills Two, Hurts Four on I-70 near Boyer Rd


Denver, CO (July 13, 2025) – A tragic head-on collision in the Denver area on Friday afternoon, July 11, left two people dead and four others, including two children, seriously injured.
According to authorities, the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on a stretch of highway north of the city, near the intersection with Boyer Road. Two vehicles—a sedan and an SUV—were involved in the crash, prompting an emergency response and temporary closure of the roadway.
A 41-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both traveling in the SUV, did not survive the collision. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
Two children who were also in the SUV, ages 4 and 8, were taken to the hospital with what officials described as major injuries. The driver of the sedan, an 18-year-old male, and his 18-year-old female passenger were also hospitalized with serious injuries.
The highway remained closed for more than two hours as investigators worked at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Further details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
